The immigrants:Liam in August, poking his head out of a maze made from boxes, each bearing the creepy slogan, "John Mason, I'd move the world for you." Late October, we're still unpacking.
Psychogeographies course:
Our life being what it is these days--strung out along imagined communities from Patagonia to Urbana to Wivenhoe to Toronto--these Lego-like fecal contributions from one of our dog friends went unremarked, possibly for weeks. Can you tell which is scat and which is toy? Neither could we! It takes a village, as the Americans say.
On a possibly related note, forgive me if I use this site to mention that I'll be teaching a course on cities next semester under the general rubric "psychogeographies." I'm adding a "comparative lit" component so check back here in November for readings.
